Mothers of newborn babies
If you are still in hospital after giving birth, your doctor can arrange to transfer you to the same hospital as your baby or to another hospital close by.
If your baby is transferred to a children's hospital, your doctor may arrange admission to an adjoining maternity hospital. You can visit your baby as often as you choose.
If you have recently been discharged from hospital after giving birth, you may be able to travel with your baby and the NETS team. However, if there is not enough space in the transport vehicle, you and your partner may have to travel independently.
