Parents of infants and older children transferred by NETS are welcome to contact or visit the paediatric intensive care unit, emergency department or admission ward as soon as possible.  

The staff will meet you, discuss your child's condition and answer your questions. Most hospitals have some accommodation facilities like a family hostel or parent accommodation facility.  

Ask the nursing staff looking after your child to contact the social worker or parent accommodation coordinator. Preference is usually given to mothers providing breast milk for their baby in intensive care and to parents from country areas.
